Measuring Your Patio Furniture for the Right Fitting Cover
Finding the proper size cover is very important to the overall protection of your patio furniture and barbecue. It is always best to select the smallest cover that is equal to or slightly larger than the dimensions of the furniture you are trying to cover. Obviously, covers that are too small will not provide adequate protection for your valuable furniture. Additionally, they will be pulled too tightly which will cause harm to the materials. On the other hand, covers that are too large will not allow for a tight secure fit because they will be too loose. This will create pockets for standing water and ballooning problems on windy days. Chairs, Sofas and Gliders: |

Find height by measuring from the ground to the top of the back of the chair

Low back chairs are less than 35” high and High back chairs are more than 35” high

Find length by measuring from the back to the front of the chair

Obtain width by measuring across the front of the chair.

Slope is the distance from the ground to the arm in the front of the chair and the distance from the ground to the top of the back of the chair (height). |

Patio Tables with Chairs: |

Position all chairs around the table and push them in next to the table.

For oval or rectangular tables, measure the length (longest distance) from the back of one chair across the table to the back of the opposing chair. Then measure the width (shorter distance) in the same fashion.

For round tables, simply find the diameter by measuring from the back of one chair across the table to the back of the opposing chair.

Remember, these measurements will be greater than the measurement of your table alone.

Finally, measure from the ground to the top of the back of a chair to obtain the height. We recommend several inches of ground clearance for good ventilation. |

Barbecues and Grills: |

Measure your grill across the front from left to right (including the shelves) to find the length.

Measure the distance from front to back at the widest point to get the depth.

To find the height, measure from the ground up to the tallest point of the grill.

Tip: If your grill is less than 44” long, you most likely need a medium size. If it is between 45” and 60”, you need a large size. |
